There are two things that really make me feel like I'm alive.
One of them is paying bills.
The other thing... I'm having trouble remembering at the moment.
In lieu of the other thing I can't remember, I'm gonna say climbing up on the roof of the house on a summer night with a huge joint and a bottle of water. The roof is still the best place for me to get paranoid, 'cos I can see in all directions at once.
I used to be able to jump off the roof, cat-like, landing on my feet with nominal effort.
And on that note: I make my escape now.
