Everything that has been dripping into my chest is now coming back with a vengeance. I was sweating buckets and getting light-headed on my way to work.
I'm still a bit shakey...I'm hoping the peach orange juice will help.
Tonights my work party...I totally don't want to go. I'm only going this year because I ditched it last year. Also, I don't have a particularly good excuse. So I'm going to have to eat fancy pants Italian food and get totally grossed out by the veal.
Its so weird. I was in Gianna's getting my vegan food on. And I saw this couple from my high school. I hated both of them back then, and could care less now. But the odd thing, was the girl saw me, I think she might have recognized me, but just kind of stared. I wasn't going to say anything, but its weird thinking about just how much I've changed...how I look very little like I did in high school. My personality is different, my opinions and thoughts are different, they way I dress and the length of my hair is different. I think the way I am is quite the improvement, but its just weird. Its like the two of them are still in high school, I know people who still talk to them, and they still talk to the same people, they're still together, her hair and way of dress was exactly the same. Its just sad.
People who hold tightly onto years that existed what seems like a lifetime ago just seem sort of pathetic....you know?

I watched a documentary on Coney Island last night. It used to be this magical place....I feel like I missed out. It just has this fascinating history. All the old amusement parks and boardwalks have an interesting past. I have a soft spot for dark rides especially. Old Haunted Houses are my favorite. I have these fond memories for places that don't exist anymore.
Do you ever feel like you belong in a different time? That your soul is older then your body?
Myself...definately. I had a teacher in 9th grade tell me something that I never forgot. She said I had an old soul. That I didn't seem like I belonged in this time, because everything I was interested in was older. I feel like that most of the time. I mean...I knit...this ancient art form that has been around for centuries. And I don't like trendy knitted items, I only like classic patterns. Everything I enjoy or like seems to be from an antiquated process. I'm a little old lady trapped in a young woman's body.

I wish I had a pleasant mormon story to share. No postcards, no bibles.
Actually there is this park in delaware that use to be this great amusement park like boardwalk on the creek..it makes me sad when I find out things like that and they aren't around anymore....

but I sort of have to change it when the roots get to bad because I don't want to upkeep in the red hair i don't have to because it is just an extra ompf from my natural colour that you can't see the roots.
I hear you can get flu shoots now because there is a bunch in supply because people aren't getting em because they think they are out.
