Welcome to October boys and girls!
The best month of the year! And this is not just because I was born during it.
It was nice and chilly this morning. Of course it didn't stay that way, but I was happy just to see a glimpse of cold. I wore my hoodie sweater to work like an idiot. I forgot how warm it could get in a hour. This is September weather...not October. I am still protesting the weatherman.
I actually have a knitting update. My big warm lovable sweater has a nice completed back. I need to knit up the front, attach the shoulders, knit the sleeves (which will already be attached and knit from the shoulder down, so no annoying seaming!) and then finish my collar. Besides sewing in all my little tails I will be done! God I love circular knitting...because when its finished..its finished...no attaching pieces, nothing! YAY!!! I will of course wear this sweater every single day that it is cold. Its kind of big on me (a tried it on up to my boobs, since thats all that was done) but that was the whole point. Everyone loves a big soft sweater you can literally get lost in. Mmmm...I can't wait.
I got my second Black Phoenix order in yesterday. It has my tasty Snake Oil in it. A pretty vanilla smell, sort of like cookies or marshmellows. Not the amazing scent a lot of people made it out to be, but nice nonetheless. I'm glad I got a big bottle of it. I have two more orders on the way....PLUS...I ordered my birdie necklace with a longer chain from Small Things Designs. She said she happened to have the color and style combination I wanted in stock so i will be getting it next week. I actually squealed when i read the email! I am such a happy
! I want to get the bee ring with an olive background next...
We're going to see Lewis Black on Sunday. I'm so excited. The tickets cost an arm and a leg and another arm...but he is so great live. He gets so angry and he's just hilarious. And I do admit to having quite the crush on the man! Sigh..
So that means I have Deach Cab For Cutie the 20th....Explosions in the Sky the 6th...and Hot Snakes whenever that is (I can't remember...but I am going!) I'm officially broke now....YAY!
And my all important full moon Black Phoenix limited edition scent order the on October 27th!
And....and....my birthday and Halloween all the way over there at the end of mighty October. I can barely see them in the horizon line...two little specks.
Such a busy month.
And if anyone would like to hang out with little ol' me at anytime please do drop me a line. I miss seeing all my SG pals!!! I'm always up for boozing and shmoozing!

I was told by a writer that I should become a writer. I think I'm going to start looking into that again.
And boy...my parents would be pleased as punch if I started writing again. They were both disheartened when I stopped.
Wow...an uplifting journal...who would have thought!

You knew something had to happen...
I was lifting a box at work, a pretty heavy box. I didn't want to do it, with my sore arm and all, but if I'm the only one here and everyone else is prissy, what am I going to do. Anyway...lift it, intense elbow pain, and I feel a sort of weird pop. No noise...just a weird feeling. No abnormal pain. So i'm like..hm...interesting. Half an hour later...I have this killer pain in my shoulder, and it sort of feels like hot chocolate is flowing over it. This can't be good, right?
And my doctor is booked for Monday and won't be in til Thursday..so I have to call on wedsenday to hopefuly get in on thursday...argh.

and u know, ur right, looking through the camera to find the ghost is scarryness. but it's fun too lol. my sis is always trying to make me capture the ghosts by saying she cant control the camera lol. but it's nice. hope u get to play at least an hour of it, then u'll be like "whoa ... "

Maybe I shouldn't be telling you this......hhmmm.....but I really DON'T like big sweaters you can get lost in. I just don't like sweaters at all.
Or people who wear them.
