One of the areas of my body that I have had the biggest struggle accepting (and I know we all have them) has been my stomach. I have never had children but my body certainly tells the story of my struggles with food and weight, which I obviously no longer want to shame or hide.

I was actually at a spiritual retreat for a weekend...

This is the shit I live for, sorry for the vulgar terms. Honesty is always the best policy and you've just bared your soul to us all. I know it must have taken an immense amount of bravery to post a blog like this. For that you have an immeasurable amount of admiration from me. If you struggle at any point to treat yourself like the Goddess that you are, you can count on me to worship you. You're a remarkable woman.

That tattoo looks amazing and I struggle with the look of my belly too

I love getting work by different artists, even though my favorites are all by the same artist. :) Most of them were done in or around the St. Louis area. This tattoo was done at Iron Age Studio in St. Louis.

This tattoo I got in part for the Beatles song, "Blackbird", as it was one of my favorite songs when I moved away from...

At least you got the tattoo when you weren't stoned, unlike a few folk who get drunk and wake up with a tattoo they know little about apart from some crazy alcohol filled idea "let's al get tattoos of a bucket". Crazy question for you. As you have a lot of tatoos, do you ever wish you could move this, one here and swap that one for the other there, like wanting to move furniture around to re-arrange the room for better use of the space?
aphoenixryzes:
No, my tattoos are all intentional (even the one cover up) so I enjoy where they are and what they represent.

A lot of people have seen me as this very confident woman, long before that was even to begin to really be true for me.

I don't tell this story, by the way, in hopes of getting pity, I tell this story because I want to share about the different transformations that have come through pains in my life and how my tattoos represent these....

Excellent well done I know how it feels exactly the same happened to me 🥰🙏

Great to hear that you overcame problems. Most folk don't realise just how much effort it takes to go through the whole process of kicking an addiction. By telling your story here you will be speaking directly to some people in this community that on the surface might look like they've got it all together, whilst privately battling inner demons. You talk about running 5K's and things you can do better now than you could as a younger you. I found I could run further while overweight in my 50's than I ever could as a skinny teen.

This tattoo is of a dove being uncaged to set it free and the Rose represents the heart and deep heart healing. The dove, for me, represents peace and freedom. My heart has been a place of a lot of distress and unrest in my life. I have seen and overcame a lot. Peace has not come easy and last year, when my husband was

This is a very tattoo story of love and loss and redemption, and I love you for healing that with your words
liplix3r:
Tattoos are very personal and normally have a story behind them, but yours clearly belongs on another level as there is a a deep, emotional factor behind yours. Your words of HOPE are encouraging to us all, so I will steal that acronym and pass it forwards to remind others to live in hope. Thank you for sharing.

I have only ever had one tattoo cover up done. I think many people I know can relate to getting their first tattoo and being like, "yes, that served me at the time, but I have changed since then." My very first tattoo, which not a lot of people know about me, was the Japanese symbol for "Poison" on my lower back. Also, this relates...

Yes, xhororox, the tree of life is right over the Kundalini/Root Chakra, to heal and cleanse energetically and to ground me in.  :)

That's really cool, its like casting a spell on yourself.

All of my tattoos have meaning, each one represents a part of my story and who I am today. I am excited to share this story with all of you.

This tattoo is on my sternum for a reason... I will share more about this soon. :)

I thought I would also share that I have only ever had 1 cover-up. I have had some

I will be starting the stories this weekend, sorry for the delay! 😘

I am a recovered addict. I never thought I would actually 1. live to see my 40's and 2. be able to say, "recovered addict". There are many controversial thoughts around "recovered" and what that means. I can only speak from my experience...

I started using food as a coping mechanism around the age of 6. I am a compulsive over/under eater, mainly over eater....

So... I am in an open marriage. My husband and I actually decided to enter into an ENM marriage in February of this year when I told him I wanted to open up my sexuality and be all of who I have been holding back while being monogamous the last 9.5 years of the 10 years we have been together. Now, at first, my husband...

It takes that total communication to make any relationship or LS work. Insecurities always pop up, more often in men, as society tells them they should not allow their wife to run free. And, the fragile male ego thing.  It does exist. Stay tough, and stay strong
liplix3r:
It sounds like the polyamory (I had to look that word up on google) was a catalyst to trigger a deeper relationship, which sounds paradoxical. While your feelings for another person may not have been reciprocated, I am certain that there would be plenty of volunteers here in SG Land who would gladly take his place and wouldn't let you down. Glad you are in a happier place.

Hello!

I am sorry it has taken me a bit to finally get on here to do a proper introduction and to tell you a little about why I decided to become a Suicide Girl, but, HERE I AM!

So I have a dear friend (also a Suicide Girl) who introduced me to this world. I am 44 years old and never, up until a...
