Well done!! I once did a fair bit of running, usually entering 5K or 10K events, so I know how hard it is to get motivated and keep putting in the effort. It an take you 12 months to be able to breath easy on a run, but you will lose that in 6 weeks of not running as I found when surgery interrupted things. Like my doctor said, "Ditch those bloody scales, stay physically active, be it running, walking or gardening and eat sensible portions and sweet things in moderation."
