I was almost killed today.
So I was coming out of the post office, and just minding my own business heading back to the car.. It had started to drizzle, and so I'm looking around at how black the sky was becoming, and suddenly there was a strike of lightning right in front of me.
And when I say ... "right in front of me" ... I mean RIGHT THE FUCK IN FRONT OF ME!!!!!
I heard sizzling and popping of electricity, and there was a huge blindingly white crack, and I swear I could see a black outline around it, kinda like when you look straight into the flash of a camera as it goes off.. It happened so fast, but it was so close I could have reached out and touched the spot it was in.. I literally froze where I was standing, and just kept thinking
oh my god i was almost struck by lightning that could have killed me!
I got into my truck and just started shaking...
Never been so close to death before!

But when I first was reading it, I thought you said you jumped into your "trunk". Lol..... I thought that was hilarious... till I remembered your TRUCK doesn't have a trunk! I then proceded to reread it... and it wasn't funny.
