Sooooo.....after 3 years renting in my current place and sharing rooms and apartments for 6 years I was getting tired of it all. My landlord was threatening to evict so everyone in the current place started to go into survival mode. Admittedly I did the same, but I took time to settle the situation down and got everyone safe for now. I did get to thinking though and asked my folks for some advice, I had some money saved and getting to a spot in my life where I have some means to do something now so I decided to buy a place. I found a few houses/condos/etc and settled on this nice condo corner unit with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms that could honestly turn out to be really nice with some tlc. Made my first offer met with an agent and a financial advisor and getting approved for a loan. I might be a homeowner by the end of the next month and I'm super excited and scared but mostly super happy. Finally get a place to call my own!
