Ok! Good things first:
Hockey game tonight! (yep, you all can skip this paragraph) Avs vs. Devils. I got to yell nasty things at Scott Stevens in person rather than at the TV. It was fun. I also realized that I've watched the Devils so much through the past few playoff seasons that I can recognize them on the ice the way I do the Avs--by the way they skate. Sick. Elias looked blonder than he does on the TV. I wonder if he's pulling a Modano and bleaching it. Anyway, it was a 1-1 tie, which means extra Tanguay-time for me. Happiness is, right?
And that boy came out again tonight even though he's not drinking. I can't help but think it was partially because of my note, but he didn't stay long. Just enough to make me want him more. Will someone please put me out of my misery? At least I got to laugh at him about the Patriots beating the Colts today. Yeah, that was great.
Ok: Bad news. My ex, the one that I've never gotten over, is getting married, apparently. A friend of mine told me about it on Thanksgiving, but it only really sunk in to me yesterday, when this jackass called me to ask me about it. It's a long sordid history with me and those boys, and I really didn't want to talk to the one about the other. Not to mention that the last time I talked to the ex (this past August) he did not even mention a girlfriend, let alone a serious one. And he's told me before about girls that he's seeing...so either he just met her and decided to get married, or as recently as August, he was seeing her but wanted to keep the option open? I don't know. All I know is that I had wanted to go home for a couple of weeks for Christmas and spend the time with my family that I missed for Thanksgiving, but now I'm going to be scared of running into him or answering the "Did you know that he's getting married?" question.
Oh yes. This is the boy that I wrote that lovely journal entry a few days back about. Fucker.
I still need a new job. Someone hire me.
