I never update this thing anymore.

I've been reading the "Henry and June" portion of Anais Nin's diaries and thinking about how much better my writing is when I'm writing a journal as well. It keeps me working and even if I haven't written anything else that day, I've practiced something somehow. And writing them for an audience works even better because I have some reason to make an effort to do it well.

I bought Vans deck shoes with hippos on them today. Look at the little things that keep me going.

I have become boring. I need to become less boring.
