Top 5 Things Of The Week:
5. Bought new socks. I love new socks so much. Like, before they've been washed, and they're fresh and awesome. New socks are the best.
4. Bought two Dandy Warhols records, a Randy Newman record, The River by Springsteen, Tracy Chapman's first record, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club's sophomore album and more. All of them are awesome.
3. Had drinking fun with mates last night. One of the pubs we went to played I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight by Cutting Crew, which I'm totally obsessed with. Oh yeah.
2. Got Cubase, and worked on recording some songs, and they're turning out alright. Cubase means I can actually put lots of tracks in, which means the songs will have organs, accordions, mandolins, basses, guitars, vocals and, of course, bongos. Dude, awesome.
1. Saw the Beastie Boys live. And it was the best live show I've ever seen. Ever. They kicked it off with party tracks like Brass Monkey and Shake Your Rump, then played instrumental tracks from In Sounds From Way Out and ended the gig electric with Gratitude and... oh lord, so good... Sabotage. These guys are 40+ and they're rocking harder than any kids out there. Incredible.

I'm a dork...I know.
I had to read these med texts for my thesis and it sucked so bad. It made my head hurt. which was appropriate because I was reading about brain structures.
