I've realised the time has come that I must give in and get a computer again. I've rediscovered love of my camera and I want to work on my pictures and make a website for my paintings. I haven't had my own computer for the last 4 or 5 years, had a wee iPod thing for a while but dropped it in the bath a year or so ago and it's been really good but I realise it would be a great creative tool for me this time. Hopefully I'm finally disciplined enough to have a computer and use it for useful things! I'm rambling about this here because I don't have a clue where to start! I was searching back through my SG private messages because I remember two people recommending me computers when I wrote that mine had broken and one of them was telling me all the specifications that I would need but I can't find them or remember who it was who wrote to me now! I'm just needing something to do photos on so guess I would need a lot of storage space? I'm used to using macs but I think they are ridiculously expensive and they don't feel like they used to as a company anymore so I'm not averse to going over to the dark side...
Spring is filling me with energy and I feel optimistic about trying to use my skills again and sharing them with people. I hope you are all well and thanks for any tech advice! Xx
