i was on the phone with j. last night at about 1:15am, when he suddenly gasped into the phone: "elliot smith died? WHAT?" it made me sit up in bed.
i guess it is not all that surprising, but still very sad. and i have had various songs running through my head all morning.

I think I would hate to meet your boy. It's much easier to resent him as an obstacle when I don't know him. Yeah, I know. . .I'm working on growing up.
