ive found that i am no longer afraid to make decisions, for fear that they will be the wrong ones. ive made bad choices enough to learn that it is inevitable. some things can be fixed, and if not, then i am able to live knowing that ive done the best i know how.

i say this because i am now in a position where i have a lot of choices to make. choices that will map out the next several years of my life. ive spent the past month sorting through finances and travel plans and career goals and commitments. its exhausting; my mind goes through scenarios and options 24 hours a day. i think about it when im at work, when im driving, when im trying to sleep, when im watching tv, when im talking to other people. i want this out of my head. and i think the only way to do that is to set some wheels in motion. wish me luck smile

one thing that really gets to me is when i read rude comments on here. i guess it doesnt happen that often, but every once in a while ill come across someone posting a question or remark and then someone else (patrons and sgs alike - by the way, please keep in mind that we girls are NORMAL PEOPLE, we are not any better than you) makes a completely rude & unnecessary comment. that makes me not want to come back here for days and days.

the fact is that everyone deserves respect, unless someone has given you a good reason to not respect them. being bitchy and inconsiderate does not make you better or cooler than me, it does not win you points in my book, nor does it do anything positive for that old karma of yours. i dont care if you own a pair of pink panties and are naked all over the internet, show your fellow human beings some courtesy. please.

ok, i will end it there. but i really do think it is an important thing to remember. whether its here or in the real world, possessing tact, kindness and unselfishness toward others not only promotes a more positive atmosphere, but it will really make you a happier person.

ohhhh my god i must get a new profile picture STAT.

Damn, look at that. I beat PunkNiteMike. He'll probably post while I'm still typing. (Don't forget Punk Nite, Anna!)

I brought ze kitties home tonight, and they were so well behaved! It might have been because I put catnip in their pillow, but hey, it kept them docile and they didn't seem to scared. They seem to have a voracious appetite for cooked deli meats.

So I bought a townhouse, yo. You can see it here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/leftist/sets/658790/

Other than that, I've been working really hard on a web project that we launched earlier this week for a client, I had a pretty kickass birthday party, and on a less cool note, one of my good friends.. Jeff, aka Ninjalicious (who was the editor of infiltration.org) died in late August, so it's been a bit sad and surreal lately.

Other than THAT, I really just miss you. I'm sorry about your laptop. If I had the means (or was completely crazy) I'd send you a new one. At the rate I'm getting new ones, I just might yet.

Your new set pictures look great. You're amazing. If you gave me a weekend of your life, you'd never want to leave Toronto, that is a promise.

And on that note.. [click]
