Success!! I spent most of the morning patching together Frankenstein's entertainment center and, though it looks like shit, it does work. Now I can watch DBZ in stereo, complete with crappy, confusing dialogue and Casio-grade music. . . . .great.
Stoned most of the day. Muad'dib's first crop was ragweed but this stuff is the chronic. . .forget about it. I was still productive though: as above, re-invented stereo technology using Lincoln Logs, also found 2 great apartments and 1 in the ghetto--good times. Oh can't forget, managed to take a huge beautiful fillet of Tilapia and turn it into an utterly inedible sopping oily mass of once-upon-a-time fish. Looks like I'm back to pan-searing.
Going back home this weekend. It's amazing the contrast my life has in the two places: here I know no one and never leave the house, at home I can't be kept in the house, can't walk down the street without seeing 2 or 3 people I've known for years and love. . . .and can't step foot in a bar without ruining myself. Well, at least I'm a self-aware drunken mess. . .
