Is it sad that the first kiss Anabel and I shared was in a gaming store parking lot?

Perhaps there is a modicum of truth in the saying that Love will find you when you stop looking. As the deadline for classes drew near, all of my focus went to making sure that happened. That is when she started showing up to the meetups.

Now, for a little backstory. She originally started going to the original gaming meetup, and the first time she showed up, we spent several hours after everyone else left just talking about various things. That made me look forward to the next meetup. Unfortunately, that was the final meetup before the previous organizer moved across the country.

So, imagine my surprise when I find out that she's RSVP'd to my meetup.

She asked me, "Why?" I was rather stumped as to how to answer that (or, more likely, I was trying to think of how to answer such a loaded question). Even now, I'm unsure how I managed to walk away from it without getting slapped. Or is it that my brain is refusing to work?
