Dear Jackson, MI,

You suck right now. You will never hold the allure that Carolina Beach, NC has for me. Never in a million years.

True, you have the benefit of a vastly larger number of friends/family, but that only goes so far. In time, I could make more than enough friends to call my own, and maybe even influence the migration of several from your chilly climate to the much warmer buxom of North Carolna. Thankfully NC, does get cool enough to make it feel like four seasons, which is awesome. Your summers are awesome, but not nearly as long as I so desire.



I miss you "Fat Pelican!" My favorite lil' dive in the whole world! OH, how I would savor to walk through your hallowed walls, stub my toe upon your uneven floor, select my own beer in your walk-in cooler, and then shoot the shit with a friend... *sigh*



Okay, now back to reality for a few. Going to pop off a few rounds at the local DNR range. Then onto some party shenanigans at a buddy's house tonight. Hopefully we can blaze it up in the fire pit tonight. Still might. Rain hasn't stopped us in the past. Also getting ready for a job interview at our local hospital. Pretty geeked, though it's nothing that awesome. Laundry services, but it'll get my foot in the door and develop a good rapport with the powers that be.
