Here I sit....already wanting a big-ass, slab o' meat on this Lenten Friday. How petty that I think of it as such a nuisance, yet I reflect that the great J.C. took such shit that it would probably make Chuck Norris weep and Charlie Sheen go clean were they to watch it; so intense a sacrifice makes anything I do or give up seem paltry.

I'm gonna make a list of stuff to give up; maybe not even Lent intended. Bareman's chocolate milk, bacon, meat in general among several other things. I can't take a beating like he did, but I can make my self hyper aware of giving up certain things.

Not even Muslim, but I've considered observing Ramadan this year.
