It's sad. But it seems like a fact of life. As a kid, you just can't understand the whole thing, and it just throws you for a loop, ruins what your normal outlook on life is or should be.
Find me 1 child actor that made it and ended up well adjusted and I'll name more than I can count who didn't.

I heard about this "disease" called post-Olympic depression disorder, or something to that effect. In it a large group of people, or individual person, experience such a high during the games and such a low when it leaves the city.
I don't personally feel that I am experiencing this, however, I did like having foreign people everywhere and the hockey...always the hockey.

It's not "Mass Effect 2 mind blowing" but it's "This is more God of War and I loved it before, I love it now".
It's the same, but way prettier and just as polished as it's ever been.
The ultimate edition is a little cheap, but I won't argue. The art book is pretty posh!!
And Zannakins - I think you just need to get yourself a 360, Netflix alone if you're in the US is worth the price of admission, and since the PS3 has it, hell... you could go that route too. Game systems are for more than gaming and their awesome features can make up for the cost in next to no time at all...
