I got my eyebrow pierced today. Wow .. I didn't think it would be such a pain. Here's what happened.
I went in to Skin Images in Hanover, PA and told the guy that I wanted to get my eyebrow pierced. I gave him my driver's license and started to fill out the form. Once that was over I picked out my jewelry. A little barbell with blue multi-toned balls. I started to walk towards the back of the store to hand him the paper and I see someone giving a tattoo and who was it?? The girl who did the back of my neck. While my piercer got ready I chatted with her for a bit. I then sat down on the bench and watched the piercer take out all the equipment from the bags. He then put the clamp on and while doing so he tells me, "I hate to tell you this now, but I forgot to put deoderant on today" HAHAHAHA I couldn't stop laughing. He counted to 3 and then stuck the needle in.
Now, I had my eyebrow pierced before but it rejected so he had to go alittle deeper this time to go through the scar tissue. The needle went in fine and then came the barbell. He started sliding it through and got to the bottom without any problems. But wait.. the scar tissue wasn't letting the barbell through the bottom hole. For 10 minutes he was pushing on my eyebrow trying to get it through. My head kept moving backwards from the pressure. The guy was sweating! because he was trying so hard. Well.... he gave up and got my tattooist to come over. She started to push down on the barbell and was slowly and carefully cutting the skin to get the barbell to go through. After about 5 minutes of that it was finally... FINALLY through.
Wow... what a bitch!! Then both of them proceeded to tell me that I might want to go straight home and take some medicine and put ice on it. To try and calm down the swelling .. since I was probably going to look like I got in a fight the next day. I walked out of the room I was in and got out my money to pay the piercer. We were still laughing and he told me since he put me through so much today that he would give me half off my next piercing. SWEET! That made me feel alittle better.
So I went outside and called my man. Told him the story while I was still laughing. Finally I made my way home. Dodging ambulances because people don't know how to drive in the rain. I got me some taco bell tylenol and cigarettes. I will be a happy camper tonight.
What a day what a day
