Brian Vaughan is one of the hottest writers in comics right now. He has multiple books coming out from DC Comics, Marvel and edgier titles under imprints such as Wildstorm and Vertigo. The book that is closest to his heart is Y: The Last Man which he co-created with artist Pia Guerra. Its the story of the last man on earth, Yorick, and his monkey...

William H. Macy has taken on the role of Bernie Lootz in The Cooler. Bernie is a Las Vegas loser who has such bad luck that he is a paid by, Alec Baldwins character of a casino owner, to suck the good luck from a gambler who is winning. It isnt until Bernie finds true love in a young cocktail waitress, played by Maria Bello,...

A new comic strip appeared a few years ago. It was static characters in karate poses saying some of the more bizarre things Ive ever read. I guess I jumped on the bandwagon a little late because by September 2001 the strip had a name, My New Fighting Technique is Unstoppable, and David Rees was firmly ensconced in the world of web comic strips. Mnftiu,...

when i first started reading GYWO i thought, that man has got one pissed off bee in his bonnet. and then i peeled myself up off the bathroom floor, cleaned up the puke and realized i have to buck up and live in this insane world. he supplied the zeitgeist to move foward when they said irony was dead.

Is the landscape of Suicide Girls changing? It feels like it has because it was certainly easy to book author Martin Amis, the man that many people have called fictions angriest writer. I read dozens of interviews with him and if he is fictions angriest writer then I am Suicide Girls angriest journalist. Wait thats a bad example.

great interview. DRE obviously was a huge talent. he lives on! thanks.
I hope everyone who was able caught SG on HBO.
Those guys at HBO did a very good job of putting the segment together. They really have it down. when i was doing stuff similar to that it was such a hectic schedule because we were a daily tv show so they needed content ASAP usually.

We wanna dance,
And we wanna sing,
Have some fun and go adventuring.
All our friends are here,
But it ain't complete,
We ain't the Archies,
Without that Jughead beat.

well, i didn't know about this friends request but i added you on. i'm not sure because i kinda of screwed up and accidently took you off my friends list but i think i requested you to be my friend. it's all confusing these changes but whatever.
i used to watch the archie show all the time because my mom would bring them home on video tape from the video store she used to work at. i guess that's why i'm movie savvy or however you call it. my mom didn;t want to spend money on a babysitter so she took me to work with her at the video store and it was fun. i would spend most of my time in the children's room watching movies on the tele they had in there all day. i also got a chance to rent movies out to customers but that didn;t last too long. i don't why maybe it's becuase i screwed up on the money since i didn't really know how to count at the time. i don't even think i knew how to read at the time. i remember staring at all the porno movies they had behind the counter and wanting to take one of them.

Most bands shy away from the labels that the critics and the public slap on them. But according to Coheed and Cambria bassist, Mike Todd, he welcomes being called a progressive emo band. Well maybe not so much welcomes but he could honestly give a fuck what you call them as long as you got their flavor in your ear. Coheed and Cambria was started...

not as late as me.. but hey.. I just got membership to this website a few days ago.. I only been listening to them for about a week now but they are an awesome band.. already one of my favs.

i lovelovelove Mike Todd! i met him after Neverender last month and was so terribly starstruck that it was embarrassing. i follow the church of Claudio Sanchez. all the fellas in the band are so brilliant and talented. i'm getting a Coheed tattoo collage on my leg, i can't wait to add more to it.
and i always thought they smoked ganga. this makes me a happy girl :]
and i swear to god Claudio must have taken SOME sort of psychedelic hallucinogen when coming up with the complex alternate universe and story line behind the CD's
i'm fucking obsessed i need to stop.

Talking to Arthur Nersesian is just like reading his novels, a mixture of raunchy humor and intelligence. We met at a Starbucks in the Lower East Side. He told me that the last time he met someone to do an interview for the web he ended up paying for the drinks they had. I told him not to worry about it, for someone that has...

in the comments on the Andrew Fleming interview someone wrote that i was "kissing butts and throwing softballs." and then someone agreed.
I wish they added more detail but they don't have to worry. Comments like that always send me into a bit of depression. I know they don't mean and they are allowed to write what they want but any bad comments make me...

As to the Coil CD, I've not seen it before either, though friends were familiar with it. It set me back $9.99, used. Not so bad! I love finding stuff like that. A whole range of tunes spanning years. It's actually pieces that were previously on compilation releases, not B-sides, as I had thought at first. Cool cover too.

Benicio Del Toro is one of the greatest actors of this generation. Many people have called him the next Brando, the next De Niro and they are all complements he appreciates but he waves off as journalistic hyperbole. Del Toro was a solid character actor up until his breakthrough role as the marble mouthed criminal, Fred Fenster, in The Usual Suspects. Since then hes delivered...

For a man that was Born to Raise Hell, Lemmy was surprisingly calm while we spoke. I dont know what I was expecting for him to do while we on the phone. Its not like he could have smashed me with a whiskey bottle or anything but that would have been kind of cool.

dear Missy:
I love the concept! Since you're a bona fide Suicide Girl (you might say the Suicide Girl, the prototype...) I'd like to ask if there's any truth to the rumors? Are secret plans being drawn up even now at SG Headquarters' Secret Base? To eliminate the gender that brought us Stalin and George W. Bush...and to make this a world of lovely, kind & gentle tatooed women & girls. To save species; restore the planet, end war, replant the rainforests, cure cancer & AIDS, finally achieving immortality. So that you become caretakers; gardeners if you will: on planetary scale ... ?
And when this Eternal Summer of Love is reality, Suicide Girls will change their names, spending the lush days of eternity in loving embrace
