what a week
more socializing than I've done in ages and mostly with the SG family. I've been looking forward to this day for a long time. These were not the first SG people I've met, but it was certainly the longest and most sustained time I've spent with SG people.
It was lovely to finally meet the fabulous ShellyMC; I had been looking forward to meeting her for a long time. She did not disappoint. I think I love her and wish she lived closer. There is something so warm and comfortable (and it doesn't hurt that she's smokin' hot) Dorwayin was charming and chivalrous, FancyD was stunning and smart, CorpHo sardonic and sultry.
(That was my try at alliteration)
They were all in MY HOUSE!!!!!!
They used my bathroom. Crazy
It was very comfortable. We went out to dinner; it was a little difficult for me to pay attention because our son was along for the ride. We walked around the city a little.
Later in the week FancyD came over and hung out and then Saturday FancyD, CorpHo, Afterbirth and I went to Coney Island.
Check out other people's journals for most of the photos but here's one of CorpHo playing skeeball
check out those legs! I don't think she knows I took that picture, hope its ok
(Omg, that took me so long to figure out how to do - damn you new computer
Sigh, I never update anymore, this actually takes time and commitment)
I am not doing the SG summit justice, you can visit others pages for more pics and better stories.
Lastly, I gave my son my cell phone to play with in the car home, which I should never do, bad for him, bad for the phone. Somehow he changed my ring tone to a memo I had recorded. I didn't even know you could do that! And now I don't know how to change it back! And now my ring tone is my voice saying
"testing testing one two three" I hate my recorded voice
Then I realized......
It's starting already, the new generation knows more about technology than I do. He's 13 mos old for gods' sake. I would ask him to program the VCR but VCRs are soooo 1990's. He's not even going to ever know what one is.

surlymike:
I've been told by a semi-impeachable source that you have a Joey Ramone story. Might I bother you for a retelling?
