Progress report:

Walls stripped, holes plastered and everything sanded. Kitchen is ordered, but will take a few weeks at least. My bank card bled...

Poor as an elesiastical rodent. Not much work around, but I got a few repair gigs last week which has paid my huge phone bill. Bastards overcharged me as well. To top all of this off the Inland Revenue seem to think I didn't go to university. Damned beaurocratic imbasils!

The Edinburgh festival approches, and as usual I have a friend taking something up. Therefore I will have a sofa to sleep on, which is a pleasant luxury. Usually Edinburgh involves a six day bender with minimal theater and maximal girls. This time I will endeavour to see more than the usual three or four plays that fit into the schedule, but without sacrificing the girl quota. between now and then large amounts of power tools, paper, brushes, stanley knives and testosterone. Bliss!
