Can I cook? Fuck yeah!

In other news thanks for all the birthday wishes. I got hideously drunk as expected, and then a two day hangover. Marvellous.

Isn't it funny the way life moves on without your noticing? This sounds like a particularly birthday sort of sentiment, but it isn't. I've been thinking similar things for a couple of months now for various reasons that have nothing to do with finding myself well in my mid 20s. Sometimes I still have to remind myself I'm an adult with my own flat and a job and a bank balance and all that crap.
I still refuse to use the "c" word although I'm not so fussed about confessing I have a game plan. Oh and is it a good one.

But that's rather what I mean. You're so busy working and planning and doing that you don't notice where you've suddenly arrived or even how you decided to get there. Take your eye off the ball and whoom! You're life has totally changed and you're doing things you didn't expect to be doing and you're not even sure if it was a concious choice.
I never thought my life would involve so much "muddling through".

That makes it sound like I think it's bad, which I don't.
