Hmmmm, I'm not at all sure someone else's wall would do. It kind of fouls up my mental image of us both standing before the wall Dean Martinesque drink in hand (ciggy in your other hand) pondering the walls demise until sudennly and without warning we both put down our drinks pick up our sledgehammers and smash it to bits only to fall down exhausted and laughing in the rubble. I don't think that sort of behavior would do at all in anothers abode.

Years do matter sometimes. I am almost 29 and he's 33. We have both been dating A LOT longer than your ex. She is maybe just not ripe yet. Love is mostly timing after all. At least that's what they say.

Yes yes you were right about Mexico even though i DIDn'T end up going, long story.

I really want to plan a trip down there sometime soon. Leaving the country is something I've wanted to do for awhile. If you ever decide to venture to the states and are anywhere near Arizona, you have to stop by and we'll take a trip to Mexico. I haven't been in ages, but I remember the beautiful beaches and white sand and just... relaxing. I need that right about now.

I do understand what you are going through. I've been through it a couple of times myself. Its really hard to break up with an ex and still be close to their family... and on top of that knowing that the family still wants you guys to be together. After awhile I start to avoid the family's phone calls as well. Sometimes all it takes is time.

1. Okay you win on this one. It is unfair to say you are indiscriminate. Your taste in women is as fine as your taste in all other things. Ah, and speaking of good taste if all I wanted from a man was fine wine I'd be in Malibu hitched to some old geezer with boatloads of money and a cellar to die for. Sorry to hear about your mom. Mine broke her ankle bad about a year ago. She is still going into surgery and physical therapy. Of course, since depression comes with that, she is only recently back to her normal self. I had to play nurse for a while myself, but I didn't mind because my mom is cool.

I understand EXACTLY what you mean. It's more than surreal. Perhaps when their are so many blanks we fill them in with our minds and create our ideal.

What I find even more interesting is that a man your age has held my attention this long. Even if it is only on-line. The last time I dated a 24 year old man was in 1995. I was 19 and living in London. You were 15 or so. I wonder if we'd have gotten along then. I kind of doubt it

I'm on the left and shes on the right. That night was when we played dress up and had a photosession in her room. She was one of my closeset friends at one point.... she was also my ex boyfriends best friend and roommate. when he found out we hung out alot he told her that it was either him or me... and se had to choose. and only because he was her best friend in the world and she lived with him... she chose him. It broke my heart.
