I submitted my Visa application today, so assuming it all gets approved, 6-8 weeks from now I'll be packing up my life (again) and moving to Chicago.

Unfortunately Ikea is a pretty good haul from the city--it's out in Schaumburg, and there's not really any way to get there by public transport either (not that you'd be able to get all your stuff back, anyway, if there was--although they do rent vans). Hopefully you'll find a generous car-having friend before too long.

everything is peaches. I'm treating myself right by not going out or drinking for the next month and a half to heal the bod quickly and just got the OK from the doc to begin some cardio and other exercises such as sit-ups, etc that don't involve load bearing with the arm. So I'll be able to get that going so I don't completely loose my physique while healing...

In other news I'm having my last tat session today in about an hour. It's been a long time comin'. That's about it. How's it goin' for you?

Even if you did have to do an internship, at least you know some people over here, so it won't be as difficult for you. And honestly, I had the best time when I was doing my internship and working a crappy mall job. My second day at my internship, I helped remove a golf ball-sized cyst from the back of some guy's head. Good times.
