Truly fine poetry must be read aloud. A good poem does not allow itself to be read in a low voice or silently. If we can read it silently, it is not a valid poem: a poem demands pronunciation. Poetry always remembers that it was an oral art before it was a written art. It remembers that it was first song.

That's not so far off, except for a few things :

I do experience loneliness. and I don't have a fine singing voice.....yikes!! The mirror break in no time when I do sing. That's why I limit myself to just sing in the shower. wink

That was neat... did you do yours?? was it pretty close to how you are?

I didn't have a space in mind, though I do think location is very important. I was just asking questions because I'm trying to invision how this is going to work. Anyhow, I'm back in Boston for a short bit the 26th through the 31st. So let me know.
