I love liverwurst. I know, it may sound insane, but I just love this shit. It's like the ass-end of the cold-cut food chain (I think a pound sliced costs me like $3), but it's just SO DAMNED GOOD.
Never had it before? Kosher, vegatarian or Muslim but wanna know what your missing?
It's basically a less rich, less expensive version of Pate. So if you like rich, semi-solid cold cuts that bring you right back to germany in a bite or two or seven, try some.
Also, if you have it on rye bread, with some brown mustard (guldens, etc), you'll be happy as pie. Wanna go the extra mile? Throw in some potato chips, too - there's something awesome about the mix of textures that's just bafflingly delishious!!

Actually, out of the variety of nauseating foods that the Germanic peoples have come up with, liverwurst ranks among one of the least offensive. It's actually not that bad.
