Yossarian was moved very deeply by the absolute simplicity of this clause of Catch-22 and let out a respectful whistle."

There it is, the crux of the novel Catch-22 by Joseph Heller. What a mind bender, yet such a prognostication of so much of modern life, committed to stone over 50 years ago.

I'm trying again to imbibe this novel after a failed attempt 2 years ago. The astonishing irony stuffed into every line of the novel can make digestion difficult, but I vow to swallow this scroll whole this time.
