Thanks for the props in the "these people rock!" (can't think of the exact name of the thread right now) thread!! You'll have to keep me apprised of any worthy events around here, though; I took myself off of the SGPDX group because no one there seemed interested in any event that was not centered around alcohol. Too bad for them! Fr'instance, they were talking about organizing a group to go bowling. Cool, I could definitely get behind that. But it HAD to be a place that served alcohol, and so they had to put it off until somebody (I think it was DemiGauge) turned 21, etc. etc. blah blah blah. Who cares?? Just get a bunch of people together and go bowling. Sheesh. Anyway, if you hear of something cool going on that's not necessarily soaked in booze, let me know, won't you?
