There are times when in your life you stand at a crossroad. Some times if you are lucky you may get back to some of the same crossroads. Thus have the opportunity to take another road, one which you did not travel down the last time you stood before the crossroads. If you are lucky you make it back to the these crossroads early enough to realize that you made the wrong turn the last time you took a road. I had that chance this weekend when I came to a crossroads. The road I took last time was not the one I should have taken, but it was not a loss either. I grew as a person and come to know more about myself, but as I stood there at the crossroads this time I turned back onto the path that I have been traveling on. I just consider the last few years as one of those side roads, you know the ones, where they have the Worlds biggest aluminum foil ball, a fourteen foot alligator, the Bigfoot exhibit or Uncle Buckys World of Weird. So, now after the side roads I feel I am back on the path I should have been all a long. I guess the lyrics of the song I played this weekend pulled me back onto the path.
Alone on a midnight passage
I can count the falling stars
While the southern cross and the satellites
They remind me of where we are
Spinning around in circles
Living it day to day
And still twenty four hours may be sixty good years
Its still not that long a stay.
Alone on a midnight passage
I can count the falling stars
While the southern cross and the satellites
They remind me of where we are
Spinning around in circles
Living it day to day
And still twenty four hours may be sixty good years
Its still not that long a stay.
