Pop Culture Cartoon Queen
Being the pop culture cartoon queen that I am....I have decided to give you a big taste of who I am today and the things that make me happy. Cartoon wise that is...
We'll start someplace small..

Swat kats
In 1993 I came home from the third grade and discovered one afternoon a cartoon about a city full of cat-people. Swat Kats. The story of two Enforcers, military police, who while saving the city destroyed their headquarters building. The two shamed out of their jobs were forced to work off their debt of the fallen building at a slavage yard, for military salvage. The two worked hard taking bits and parts of jets that came to their yard and built their own jet to go out and stop the Criminals who were attacking the city. Taking the names T-Bone and Razor the two took to the sky to dispense their own Vigilante Justice. I love these characters they are best friends and both have their own qualities. It is why I am in the furry fandom and why I am a kat. There is always a theme behind these stories, weather it's doing the right thing, personal relationships, or interpersonal relationships. It's a fantastic show. I recomend for anyone.

]Beast Machines: Transformers
This is a serious work of art. Anyone who contests it should watch it sometime. Beast wars was a feat, however only the 3rd season was making good enough tracks to keep my attention with episodes that strung together as stories, and the three part AGENDA made it worth my time. The conclusion of Beast wars, brought about the start of something bigger. The return to Cybertron. The series Beast machines, which aired between 1999 and 2000 The return of the maximals to their home. They, optimus primal, rattrap, black arachnia, and cheetor, can not transform. Their memories wiped of everything but each other they struggle to get along, until optimus starts getting visions of a white light that lead the small troop to the inner levels of cybertron. Where they find The oracle (a computer called Vector Sigma), who speaks to Optimus, telling him to find the warrior within he must "Take the beast without" and he is reformated by the oracle to survive on Cybertron, the other four are reformated as well. It becomes a quest to discover, without command codes, how to transform out of beast mode. They must focus and think and be. There is a very strong religious feel to this series and the two short lived seasons are a climax and a close to the beast wars. Meshing living tissue with machine. Cheetor asks Optimus Primal "Well are we machine or Animal?" and his response is "Neither ..and both." They must discover in their return they had lost two of their own...Rhinox who was currupted by Megatron, and chose to stay with the overloard under the name TANKOR. And Silverbolt Black Arachnia's love who she rescued. Though after this Silverbolt would never keep the same nobility, and nievite as he had in beast wars. He was very angry after he was released from Megatrons hold (under the name Jetfire) and his anger was with himself and he could not understand why black arachnia would want anything to do with him. However it is her that reminds him....he was the one who saved her in the beast wars, brough her back from the brink. She would never let him down.

TMNT
You know, the story of four baby turtles who fall into a sewer drain and get covered with a mutigan ooze along with a lizard (yes I know, it's in both the cartoon and the comics) and a rat. You would think I would hate it but I don't. I loved it as a child I really did. My interested was sparked again with the release of the Archie adventure series comic, which was terribly drawn and had awful stories until chris allen came onto their crew. The feel the art, mid release of this comic changed. With the addition of an Anthropromorphic Fox named Ninjara, and a trip around the world, the turtles changed for me. There were lots of discussions about each character and their wholeness and completeness. Raphael is and will always be my favorite turtle, I don't know why I always like the tough guys but I do. Raphael's anger is something that is always brought up in the comics and at the end, when his girlfriend NINJARA leaves to be with her own people, it is truely a test of strength for the turtle. In 2007 when the TMNT movie by imagi was released I was skeptical they could bring together alll the best parts of the series, both comics by mirage and archie. However i was very impressed by this movie, especially Leonardo and Raphael fighting on the rooftop, it's very expressive. And it's honest, sometimes you just gotta fight it outta you. I think making raph like that was important because when Leo is taken and he goes to his father, the humility in his voice...the hurt...it is just moving. YES moving. I do hope ImagI makes another because I would love to see it ....it was wonderfully written and excelently played in all ways. My favorite characters from the NINJA TURTLES FANDOM are from the archie Comics (Mondo Gecko and his human girlfriend Candy)
so cute!
Just some stuff I wanted to get out....kinda hard to think of cartoons in this context but I do...and they are important to me....thanks for reading...

Beast Machines sounds very interesting, I had never heard of that show.
I have not seen that movie but I loved the show as a kid, I remember on Fox when the show first came on, they had one week of the show and people had to like vote on it or something like that, I just remember them trying it out for a week and then a while later it came on full time.
I loved those Archie comics! I loved the floating head, Cowlick! Have you seen the the new TV series? It's a good mix of the 80's show, and the Archie and Mirage comics! I
