Been Knitting away my sorrows ...
Finished the falling leaves scarf for my mother for Mother's Day...it's this weekend you know! I Knit it in a sock yarn with a lace pattern so it will be open and airy...it's mostly for her to wear when she goes to Church.

...the scarf above is only 41 across... I wanted to do something a bit different with the same pattern so this time I upped my needle size to a size 9, grabbed some heavier yarn (worsted weight) and cast on 89 sts! OMG! and I've been cooking on it all day stopping to take pics as I went

Those are gorgeous! I crochet a lot but never learned to knit very well. I will someday though
