You should probably put out some more job feelers. Sounds like you're rocking the daycare options, and the preemptive food stamps sound like a great idea. Churches in your area may also run food banks where you could stretch those stamps. Probably better to get a head start on that, too.
For quick money, there's always waiting tables. Most people find it pretty draining, but the tips are yours the same day you work, no waiting on a paycheck, and most places are used to high turnover, so there's less worry with working that job while you look for another, and quitting as soon as something better comes up.
