@amberetta I'm Mexican too! Only 1/8 though. My forearms will tan but only for a few days. Mostly I burn and go back to white but my freckles darken. I hate using sunscreen too but will if I'm out for a long time and obviously to protect my tattoos.

2 Excedrin Migraine + 3 Ibuprofen works like a charm for me.
