oh my god ... I was walking to work just now and I met this lady who was out walking her GREAT MOTHERFUCKING DANE .... maaaaaan i LOVE those dogs!!!! It was incredible, the biggest animal I've ever seen that is not a) a giant terrifying predator or b) a farmyard animal. Amazing. I must get one!! I stopped dead in the street when I saw it and sort of blurted out (somewhat embarrassingly) "Can I pet your dog??" to the woman, who smiled in a nice but mildly puzzled way and said, "Yeah, course" (cute english lady) ... so of course when I took a step toward it it shoved its head under my jacket and started tonguing my crotch. Argh!!!
Still, the experience has not put me off. I am destined to own one of those dogs.
On other news .... 2 weeks today it will be my last day at work. Huzzah!
