The Friends of the Library bookstore in the central Portland library.
Went to the acupuncturist yesterday, she put 3 times as many needles in my face as I've ever had before, but it's a good thing. The pressure's receding a little, and now I have herbs and such to take to help. Still very numb in the cheek/nose/eye, but it's getting better. We're likely past the ER phase.

No repeats on the surgery. Luckily these days the surgery is done with lasers and is so much better than the old school cut into your face that they did back in my day. It is also much less painful. If it is chronic and no drugs are working I would say go for the surgery.

That still didn't stop him from inviting K to accompany him to some sort of swingers party (which she's never done and wasn't interested in trying).
