This was an exciting weekend, all things considered. Went to go see E, aka the Birthday Girl, on Friday... Saturday I hung out with the lovely December at my favorite martini bar, then did an interview that got cut short due to technical difficulties (and yet it took 3 times as long, due to trying to get back on the line), then I enjoyed yet more birthday festivities. Then off to church (Unitarian Universalist - read godless hippy-church) on Sunday morning, where I proceeded to try to choke back tears for a solid hour. Talking about atonement for some reason was more than a little difficult. Stupid uncooperative watery eyeballs, I can't even begin to express how much I hate being emotional in public, especially around strangers.
