Well, apparently the whole recubing debacle pissed off the right people, and now I have my double-wide back again.
I'm apparently shy of 3' of desk space now, but I'm pretty sure that's what I'd have been shy of with the smaller cube anyway. And now I don't have to rearrange my desk, theoretically. I can just put stuff back more or less where it was, hopefully. Or else they actually made a huge fecking mess and I'll get to spend all Monday picking shit up off the floor. Either way, whaaaatever. I got my huge cube back, I'm a happy camper.
It's so nice when I can remain calm about these things and yet it comes out okay in the end anyway...
