There are so many moments where I wish I had a camera in the tip of my nose or something... press a nostril and voila, recorded forever.
This morning my cat comes up to me while I'm brushing my hair and does as she's wont to do - she puts out her paw and grabs the back of the brush, to push it towards her...

I had this dream so completely weird and disturbing it turned my stomach, and I had to lie there and make sure I remembered it so I could write it down. First, I was riding on a motorcycle or something, like by remote control. I was in Utah but I was in Baltimore, trying to get closer to 80. Then I was in a store,...

Its one of the hardest things in life, dealing with something like that. Saying "I'm sorry" just never seems to cut it in these circumstances, so I'll just send my good thoughts your way.
On happier notes, I think you shoul continue to bring your cute friends to parties! And your cute self! And your cute husband! Not necessarily in that order.
Thanks for the sweet testimonial!
I'll be logrolling one at you shortly.

I lost my older brother when I was 17 and he was 19. He commited suicide after his first semester of college by overdosing on his anti-depressants. I was in serious shock and talked about him as if he were still here until about 3 years ago. My husband didn't even know he was gone until he put it all together in his own mind. We were really close and I couldn't process the fact that he was gone for years. It's hard losing them.
Man oh man. What a weekend. I'm a happy, happy girl. It was so good to get to spend time with so many of my favorite people over the course of this weekend. Now Mr. Moss is making his delicious marinara for me and Yumchen. Garlicy, basily goodness!

Wow, that sounds great... and, yeah I concur... recent stresses have subsided and I've been deluged in big thought all day. I mean, maybe it's just that it's been raining here for 4 days straight... but I think you're right, something's up.
Thanks to a certain observant someone
I've become aware that a whole bunch of my old BBS buddies from Eugene are living up here now and looking to do a reunion this summer. I spent the rest of the next day bouncing off the freaking walls with glee. My 10th high-school reunion, I think recently came and went (can you tell how excited I was?...

Yay for reunions! There are about a dozen people from school that I'm very curious to know whatever happened to them, but I don't think I'll ever go to an official reunion.
I've been teaching burlesque dance classes here in SF, and they've been going very well. Our first showcase was on June 11, and it was awesome! Been performing again, lots going on.
Glad to hear you've been busy having fun!

She moved in with her uncle but he decided to go back to vegas to find a job. He felt bad though for changing his mind and agreed to pay for half the rent through the summer so she can find a new roommate or a new place.
It's going to be the awesomest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The spiders I can handle, now that I've shown them who's boss. We can usually have a very adult conversation about who pays the rent around here, and the spiders and I get along just fine. The three inch long centipedes are a bit too much for me.

Drugs. I think the only times I've reached the levels of happiness that you're talking about was when it was artificially derived, unfortunately.
Ah sleep, how I've missed you, let us never be apart so long again! What am I talking about, I'm not gonna get to see you again till next week. You're always going out and carousing, even when I'm not... curses!
It was good seeing you folks again at the Jolly Roger, I really ought to get out more often!

Ah oui oui, Sleep, she and I, we have a long tortured history. I resist her when she's at my door and and court her like mad when she's away. Stormy and fitful is our love.

Sleep is so nice. Elusive to me someties too.
What's your favorite 50-cent word?
I think my favorite to say is verissimilitude, I just like the way it feels to form. It has so many syllables, it flows so slowly, it starts so softly and ends so definitely. My favorite word to throw into conversation though is gesticulate. It sounds vaguely unsavory and technical, like a combination mastication and gestation.

Grumpity grump grump. No word yet on NY, that doesn't bode well. I lost my Kiss. We've looked everywhere. Under the couch, all around the living room, even the right-hand corner of my mouth. Not to be found. I'm afraid the cats have picked it up and hidden it.
I was talking the other day with a coworker about how much weight I've lost over...

Hey mossy girl,
I'm so sorry that you lost your kiss!
I bet the kitties did steal it. Did you look under the stove? I find crazy kitty treasure there sometimes.
Girl, you definitely know your westside sushi joints. Smmmmmmushi, yum, yum, yum! syun is pretty tasty, but I find toshi's to be more reasonable in the price dept. I haven't tried tokyo yet. Do I see a sushi date in our future? Hmmmm?
I'm so sorry that you didn't make it to the bbq. Phillipe and I both missed you. You gonna be at embers tonight? clue me in if so, and I will bebop in that direction, if my boy is still downtown in a hour or so.
*sneek attack squish'n'kiss*

The thing about kisses is that even when you lose yours, there's usually plenty others to be found....
Yes, we missed you at the bbq! I'm planning on being a much more frequent face at events though, would have come out to Pirate Thursday but I've been battling a wicked stomach bug all week.

I'm trying to get work to send me to New York. They need someone to double-click. I think I can handle that. Plus. Ohmigod. How awesome would that be!

Sounds like a fun trip.
I had this dream that there was a dwarf camel laying on my stomach while I tried to go to sleep. Each time I reached up to pet it, it would pin down my hands with its big velvety feet. I was somewhat concerned that it was going to bite me at any moment, so it was important that I get my hands free. Because...
