Conversations with my mom that start off with my nickname never end well. Crochet is very therapeutic.

yumchen:
What's your nickname???????????

Shy girl. You so fly.

I made candles in fruit, vanilla, and storm flavor. I just got some new scents so I am going to make some lemongrass, cedarwood, and sandlewood soon.

We made 10 gallons of oatmeal stout, five of which are going to end up vanilla oatmeal, and 10 gallons of lager that jon fucked up and are now 10 gallons of mold.

Making xmas cards is my new therapy.

yumchen:
You are getting xmas candles. The only reason I call them that is the time that they are made. xmas is for shitters.

anyway...

what scent do you want?

lemongrass
cedarwood
flower garden
love spell (victoria secret!)
sandlewood
Storm
mountain lake
peach
apple
amish harvest (it's spicy!)

Let me know smile

I've discovered the joy of collecting friends like baseball cards, now I'm learning the joy of collecting colleagues. All the strangeness of MySpace minus the dirty, creepy emails from strange people, but with a heaping helping of having to ponder protocol.
starisea:
I haven't had the . . . need to join myspace yet. Just the thought of it makes me feel . . . odd . . . confused

It was indeed delightful, but somehow I think the addition of Moss and possibly Devil's Point would have pushed the wonderfulness levels into overload.

wink

PS~ Did I forget to mention that it wasn't human vomit? biggrin (Yes, sick, sick things amuse me)

Today is the day I remind myself, a lot, not to be envious of others.

It doesn't seem to be working.

Must be those toxins in his new car smell, making me "slow".

hotpockets:
But... you got a new car! That's not something a lot of people got recently.

Contentment, I'm so jealous of the people who have it wink, haha
starisea:
Pirate Thursday is still groovin'?

Wowie! Now that I'm an urban eastside girl, I might actually make it down there. wink

I think that I am ready to be back in the social aspect of the internets. Just gotta keep it all in perspective. Teehee!

Did I tell you that I got to have sushi with Miss Yumchen and her boy? It was fun! Then we went to look at boobies. Yay boobies!

blush

PS~ I am soooooooooo diging "Firefly". I will be sad when I have finished all the DVDs. frown

I've discovered the greatest game evar. The cats really like licking the water off the shower when I get out. Recently, the boy cat has decided he no longer wants to wait for the water to stop running. The first time, I let him in thinking there's no way he'd get completely in. He clung to the wall away from the water and stayed for...

Have any of you been to a psychologist and had a good experience with it? If so, what was it? What made it different than, say, talking to someone who's reasonably level-headed and neutral?

"Honi soit qui mal y pense". . . effing awesome. smile

Yeah, I found it to be really helpful when I was going through a rough time, but I strongly agree with the other BB up there about them sometimes getting wrapped up in their own issues. They can help you efficiently navigate to the source of your problems, but as with everyone, one must consider the source.

The key value I think they bring is that people tend to go off course in well defined ways and they can help you find out which bucket you're in. The challenge is then figuring out how much of that is a problem smile.
tjaden:
Yes... and there's absolutely no difference at all... for me at least. That's why I stopped going, actually.
