I am home. I am not happy about it. Not because I have three weeks to hire a mover, cancel and start up services, and pack up my house.
I love Boston.
SPOILERS! (Click to view)
I truly do. I have NEVER in my life been surrounded by such a proud group of people. Outside the Gahden was so amazing. The chants, the cheers. One Bruins fan was walking near a Canucks fan SCREAMING Lets Go Bruins, and we all cheered with him, he began cheering AT the Canucks fan and I wasn't sure how that would go. He then stopped yelling, shook the head of the Canucks fan and said "All in good fun, good luck to your team." Every Bruins fan I saw who interacted with a Canucks fan eventually shook their hand and tried to even the score lol. I avoided Canucks fans as much as possible. I'm an angry, violent person. So I just avoided a bad situation.
When smoking outside of McGreevys during game three, a kid rode by on a bike and saw my shirt and screamed RAY BOURQUE! lol. (I was wearing my Bourque shirt of course)
The taxi driver who took us to the airport talked to Reekie and I about the game the night before, the TSA at Logan, the flight attendants, even a flight attendant getting a coffee at Dunks in Logan stopped us and said he was "proud we were up early enough for our flight after the game." Anytime someone found out we were from Iowa, they LOVED us even more for visiting just to see a game. When we arrived in Detroit, the cop working the airport stopped us and said "You could get in trouble for wearing that around here." (We were in bruins gear, and luckily I wasn't wearing shirts for my number one team, the Avs lol) and I said "Maybe, but it's worth it." and someone overheard as they walked by and yelled GO B'S! So I yelled GO BRUINS!
This was the best vacation of my life. It topped London and Norwich. Easily.
I will have a more detailed blog tomorrow when I'm not as stressed/tired/in pain.
My Hero hung out with us before/after the game. Along with HER bff who I know from tumblr.
Here's some pictures of stuff.

Androxin is on the far left, you can see me and Reekie, and the hottie in the skirt is my hero.
These are the Days of Y'Orr guys. They happily took pictures with the 'fans from Iowa' and were hilarious. I promised them the next time I came to visit I'd go to Sullys for the game instead of McGreevys.
Days of Y'Orr
BTW, they're hilarious and kinda sexy

Free beer. Td Gahden won't sell to out of state or military dependant IDs if you're under 25. (like it fucking matters) Guys love hot hockey fans I guess.

My phone's view from our seats. Our view was a bit better, but my phone wouldn't show the "real life" view of what we saw. Our seats were so close, it felt like we were at a hometown USHL game in the Ice Box.

I got to stare at Timmy. A lot. I just have to share my Timmy with you. I love him. I have a video of him blowing a kiss, but it's shaky because I flipped my shit when he did it. He was facing our area of the rink when it happened. 9I'm such a pathetic little fangirl for that hairy man)

My new bedroom wall.

TO MY HATERS

You know who you are, and I know you're creeping. Hope you enjoy what you're seeing here.
Alright. I need to go now. I don't feel like writing any more, or uploading more pictures.
I'll explain and have a photodump from game four tomorrow.
Bye guise.
