Being a server sucks... i work eight-plus hours 5 nights a week at my paying job, and two nights a week at an all night coffee shop thats basically only there to make sure people don't freeze to death (homeless, transient, etc.).
I don't mind the coffee shop, i don't go in expecting to make any money and plus, it feels good to help out a little bit.
But when i only average forty bucks a night, when you add my $2.13 an hour for 40 hours, that averages out to about seven dollars an hour...
I guess it's better than minumum wage, but i could load boxes onto a truck for ten or more an hour if i could deal with the repetitiveness and boredom.
I did that at target at christmas two years ago, and my mind went to sleep during the job.
Anyways, whatever.
