the band is called Two Day Rule and is based in Bristol. There's been a change in the original line up as the girl singer/guitarist disappeared, quit or was fired....too bad, I kind of liked her.

Anyway, I took the photos with my new digital camera and I'm pretty impressed with it.

I'm in London in an EasyInternet Cafe surfing....in a little while I'm going to The Garage to see some bands and hopefully take some nice pictures with my new camera.

It's been awhile....

Last Saturday, I went up to the bike show at Alexandra Palace ("Ally Pally") in North London. Saw interesting bits of kit and lots of neat bikes. I discovered that I could get my foot down on the Kawasaki Z750 and the Suzuki GSX1300 Hayabusa...hmmmmm Actually, I'm still pretty happy with my Hornet so I'm unlikely to trade up any time soon.......

Worked some more today. I had to help test some login scripts but there were some problems so....I had to send out an email on how to manually setup network printers instead...so much for automated scripts!


I do have Monday off fortunately!

This is why I'm single! Sheesh!

I am sitting at home waiting for a 1.3 Gb server image to copy over from San Francisco to my office. Once that's done, I'm going back into work to build a server.

The time now is 20:42 UK time.....it's going to be a long night....

Ah! finally got the bike running yesterday. I charged the battery up and reinstalled. I had to crank the engine a lot longer than normal but I imagine that was due to the bike sitting around for a month.

I did some grocery shopping and then went down to Croydon to get some stuff for work. It was chilly out so I had bundle up....

Ok, I've been in the UK for a week and I've easing back into work and "normal" life.

The trip back to the U.S. was good...it gave me a chance to see family, relax, reflect and catch up on sleep....

So, not really much new going on here....

Last day in California.

It used to be a novelty flying to and from the UK but, to be honest, it's getting to be a bit of a drag. I don't know how those sales people put up with it! I've got a direct flight from SFO to LHR and it should be about 10 to 11 hours. Gotta get packing....

My vacation draws to a close soon...I knew it would go fast...
