I like my new textile motorcycle suit...it keeps me warm and it's waterproof too! I've still got my leathers but haven;t been wearing them as much recently...

Anyway, back to building my super-duper database server!

I appear to have gotten myself a girlfriend accidently...

Today I have been mostly attempting to build a GCC development system on an old Sun Sparc 20 running an even older version of SunOS 4.1.4....it's kind of fun, actually, trying to get new software to run on old systems...but it takes up a lot of time!!...

I saw Serenity last week which I enjoyed a lot...

Not much else going on I'm afraid....

I met up with an old High School friend last Saturday. He was over in europe on a business trip last week and stopped by for visit before going back to the U.S.

We spent the afternoon at the Blue Bell Railway down in Surrey. Also, shot some mainline rail around Gatwick and Horley...

Just came back from seeing these guys at the Sanctuary Cafe in Brighton. Really small venue but nice, and pretty good food too!

Ummm...just been busy with work....

The past couple of weeks I have, in no particular order:

- Participated in a motorcycle ride from the Ace Cafe to the Houses of Parliament. It had to with the KillSpills campaign against diesel spills on the road. You can see some pictures of it here. I marshalled and it was actually quite fun!
