Between my Yankees being in last place (or close to it), the election campaign dragging on and on (please, Hillary, just stop), gas prices and the economy sucking ass and work issues (there's always work issues), it's enough to drive a Brother crazy!
So, how are things with you?

Life here inside the Beltway is very interesting right now...the GOP is in complete tatters. And honestly, if by some bizarre machination McCain wins in November, it would be poetic justice for him to have to work with a completely Dem controlled Congress to clean up the 8 squandered years we've had under the current imbeciles.

Well, it's that time again. Another appeal for residents of Indiana and North Carolina to please vote in Tuesday's primaries, and if you can, please vote for Sen. Obama (I can't remember if Tuesday's primaries are Democrats only or if any registered voter can cast a ballot). I've grown to support and admire him more in recent weeks even though he's had his problems during...

Well, the Clintons have make $109 million since leaving the White House. Good for them, living the American dream. But fair or not, it kind of makes me wonder whether money is partially driving this campaign. I mean, Bill's speaking fees are pretty high now, but as the former president AND the spouse of the current one...

It does seem like a lot of money, but at the same time they pay a ton of taxes. I didn't quite know what to make of it either!

The boxing match between the two has been amusing hasn't it? They might just knock each other out.
My gf and I just watched the move "Gone Baby Gone." A truly great movie. If you haven't seen it, run out and do it now. Then come back and answer this question: If you were faced with the same decision that the protagonist is faced with at the end, what would you do?

Ever find yourself in a rut? I feel like I'm in one. There's nothing awful going on, or coming up, but I find myself with this feeling that I'm just kind of coasting. Adrift. Everything is just kind of moving along at status quo. No time or money for a vacation, so that's out. I need to find some sort of new inspiration...

I've been there often. I'm just coming out of a long rut. It feel good.

It was being in a rut that lead me to me new career opportunity.
I was listening to a local talk radio show and they were talking about how much money "party" clowns make and how easy it is to get into doing. And I thought to myself "Damn, I could do that." but I don't really like clowns and I wouldn't wanna wear all that make-up. So that's when the brilliant idea came to me to put all the things I can do into something I would enjoy doing. And bingo that's how it all started.

I'm bored. Someone please tell me a story...

I'm gonna tell you a story about how gas is going to be $4.00 a gallon and the democrats can't decide who to vote for...

so, as a background, i work at a pretty religious school... we talk about jewish rituals, customs and beliefs on a daily basis.... during morning meeting we have a time for each child to choose someone or something to say good morning (boker tov in hebrew) to... usually they choose a friend, a family member, a classmate.... today we were going around and volunteering who we wanted to say boker tov to... and, this one little boy, with a huge smirk on his face said "boker tov to jesus!"... i nearly lost it!
