I'm a little rushed so I've got a shorter than usual rant:
1.) I feel bad for Jennifer Lopez. Beautiful woman, immensely talented, hugely successful... But apparently she doesn't feel complete unless she has a man in her life. Unless she actually marries him. Why the rush all the time? Why not just date/live with Marc Anthony for a while -- like 4 to 5 years -- then sneak off and get married? She's had 3 husbands and one engagement (or were her and P. Diddy engaged, too?) in less than 7 years. Seems kind of sad to me (granted, I've never been married so some people probably think that's sad). Is society driving her to do this? Her Latin culture? Low self-esteem issues? George Clooney was married once, to Talia Balsam, got divorced and said that the breakup so painful that he'd never get married again. And he hasn't. Of course, he could any day now because last time I checked women were still throwing themselves at him. But why is it he's been able to stay away from the alter, while J.Lo runs to it?
2.) Did everyone watch Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final between Tampa Bay and Calgary? Tampa hoisted the Cup in a well-played, exciting game. Some real stars emerged during the series, such as Jerome Iginla, Brad Richards, Martin St. Louis and a bunch of Russians whose names I couldn't spell/pronounce with a gun to my head. I love hockey (said it before numerous times), and I hope and pray that the owners and players association can workout their differences and not have a lockout. If they do, they could lose hardcore fans such as myself.
3.) I'm in the store the other day, I look up and I see that the new Vanity Fair is out. English soccer (sorry, football) star David Beckham is on the cover looking all... shirtless and sexy. I'm comfortable saying that; I'm heterosexual but damn, that man looks good! So I buy it because besides wanting to read about him and Posh, there are some other articles I wouldn't mind reading. Inside are more beefcake photos of the guy and I gotta tell ya, I'm envious. That guy's got a hell of a body.
As I'm thumbing through the pics, I find myself wondering: Do women still fall for men with specific physical attributes or body types? If so, what types are you attracted to? Or, what body parts? And conversely, what are the physical characteristics that most turn you off? Men, feel free to jump in here to with your thoughts on women. If you're nice, I might even share some of my physical turn-ons.
