July 12: This scandal is simply amazing. As a journalist, I'm absolutely appalled by the actions of those publications, but what seriously puzzles me is how has she kept her job? Does she have dirt on the Murdoch family or something?

Rebekah Brooks resigned on Friday, and early this morning she was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to intercept communications and possible corruption charges... just two days before she is to appear before Parliament. Also on Friday, Murdoch's right hand man, Les Hinton, also resigned. This is getting good...
July 19: Very slick performance before the Parliament subcommittee investing the phone hacking scandal. But honestly, as much as I think she's gotten a raw deal in someways (granted, I also thought she should have resigned well before she did), I just find it hard to believe that none of these people (Brooks, James and Rupert Murdoch) didn't know something. Anyway, enough about that. How about that beautiful head of cascading red hair!

I dunno, but Rupert is looking really old these days. And yea, scandalous as it may be, does any of it really surprise you?

Too bad it took so long for Murdoch to get his comeuppance. At 80 years of age, These scandals aren't going to impact on him too much.
