Congratulations to the Yankees. You earned it. Some may poo-poo it and say they bought it, but I don't care. Capitalism lives in America, and it always will.

I've never cared for the "they bought the title" argument. If money alone, invested in superstar players, could guarantee a title, the Yankees would have forty titles by now. Money has been continuous invested, and only a change in philosophy has resulted in success.

But then I'm only a casual fan. So I don't really know anything.
