They are coming to Asheville...and I have been waiting for a musical reason to pay a visit.

How come every time I like a band lately The Roots are somehow associated. Or maybe it just seems like it.
My good friend is gonna play tonight for a breast cancer benefit.

Shall be nice. She's gonna make it all up.
There will be paintings. People walking around with red wine in plastic cups commenting. I think of John Waters in those situations. I read that he loves "art openings"...listening to the folks and everyone trying hard to be on the cusp, and original and make an intelligent comment all at the same time. Well that is not what he said but I think that may be somethin with it.
