What a fucking beautiful Portland day. It's about 60 degrees, sunny, with a little cool breeze.
I think today will be the perfect day for a bike ride. Remember a while back I was mentioning a chopped up beach cruiser that I was working on. Go look in my pics and you'll see phase one. Well, phase one of completion. I have all the parts I want, and the frame and fenders came painted but, I don't like the glossy paint. So I plan on doing it all flat black like a rat rod. My girl is going to do some classic pinstriping also. Then some fake cadillac tail lights, a head light, and maybe different handle bars. I think I need ape hangers. I think I might return that seat too. I like my stuff a bit more subtle..

Vroom. Oh! Also I'm adding a place to hold a boom box so I can listen to Deadbolt while I cruise. What else could I possibly listen to while cruising this Frankenstein of a bike built down in the lab?
